hi it's chisaikame... my former account got corrupted the last time MT crashed so i'm adding you back.. ^_^'

Quote by Aki18i like the poster colour effect =)
one of the rare workd that dun jus show off realistic sky images and starry backgrounds... though simple, conveys as much meaning as one which is more elaborately done...
I realy like it a lot.. thanks for sharing.

Thank you. ^__^
Anytime.

Quote by Aki18it doesn't look weird.. except for the maple leaves.. in an open field... but other than that i think it looks really nice.. great choice of scan and colour matching.. i like it very much! +faves

You're right... I should add some tree XD
Anyway thx alot for commenting and faving :)
Take care and see you :)

hihi Aki18 ~~~ welcum.. welcum.. welcum to MT-Singapore..
me on the behalf of everyone welcum you here.. ^^
owwoww~~~ you are still very new here.. if you have any problems.. you can just disturb anyone of us, ok... XD XP

oy vey, Aki-san! XD

how was your holidays? i hope you had a blast! OX

...and on with the critique! >.<

Quote by Aki18i need your shading skills mann...

domo arigatou! it's only a .5 mechanical pencil, 2b lead... thin lines, gradually widening as it covers wider areas.. :)

Quote:
anyway really nice perspective, i like it very much, however this perspective may give rise to errors, which i shall point out now..

hai, i was idly copying the pic, especially when i got to her left hand... (copying without analyzing) took alot of erasures over that part. ^_^'

Quote:
the right arm and hand is too large, it should be smaller since its further away from the viewer... head is also too far right, seems slightly displaced from the neck... left leg a bit thin too...

hai, hai. the perspective is very nice, yet challenging... one couldn't be too careless with pics like this. -_- that right arm was bothering me too... but couldn't quite point it out... ^_^' now that i look at the ref, the arm shouldn't be curving at all but a straight one... and yeah, a little smaller...! good observation, Aki-san! ^_^' and the head should be tilted down a bit... i always couldn't get minor yet important things like that....

Quote:
Other than that... ur shading owns.. that is unquestionable... great art!

domo arigatou, Aki-san... always a pleasure! :D

Hey! Thank you for the comment and fav. :D They're both very muchly appreciated.

Quote by Aki18for a rough sketch this is really dark o.O
It is unlike me to say very short comments but after looking at this...
i only can say this..
ur kicka$s girls rawk.

hey Aki-san! levels were adjusted in photoshop (the picture was updated) ^_^' thanks for the comment! :) Merry Christmas! :pacman:

hello Aki :) sorry for late reply XP
Thanx for favie and comment on my recent wallie.
Take care and cya.

konnichiwa, Aki18-san!

Quote by Aki18ok.. let me start off by saying that i have the original picture of this scan... ehehe so im gonna do a compare to spot few errors...

that's pretty cool - i'll try to do the same.. ;)

Quote: the head is bit too big for the body

and i guess the hip is too far from the upper portion of her body...

Quote: and the face is a bit elongated(as compared to the scan)...

hehe, i see that too... i'm a proportionate freak -i'm told.. ^_^'

Quote: the few mistakes are quite difficult to avoid, and its impossible to copy the scan entirely...
Good job there...

well like they say: we shan't do carbons here! :nya:

hmm.. and i like lengthy comments - so, thank you very much. XD

Quote by Aki18Okay...
You are one crazy dudette. Cos that's one of the nicest doujinshi i've ever seen. The shading is superb and the eyes... omigod the eyes... This thing is worth worshipping...
FAVES!

hmm~ i enjoy your enthusiasm, to be quite honest, i didn't expect her to get much attention.. ^_^' personally, it wasn't something i intended to be special... it was the original picture i guess that caused all the stir.. ;) but as a token of my appreciation, i will submit a realism picture solely dedicated to you, Aki-san! ;)

Quote: being the fussy little guy who tries to search for faults in every drawing.. i've only one thing to say... left index finger..

hee hee..curse that index finger! XO

oh yeah, i was in sg, 2 years ago... nice country! XD

Quote by Aki18oooh another one from chisai... heheh when i saw this at thegallery i half expected it was yours.. anyway...
The shading, as always... is magnificent... very clean, not sketchy and certainly not messy like mine... your shading is a something i can never attain...
anyway.. come problems with the form though..
the left shoulder is too large, as compared to the body (or the body is too small compared to the shoulder) and this makes the shape of a body feel a little bit off... as one draws the arm and body to follow the shoulder.
Hmm.. guess that's it... Great picture nonetheless.... and i realy like the way you present it...

Aki-san is too hard to impress.. >.< ..hehe.. jk. thank you very much for taking the time to comment and scrutinize.. ;) they are all taken into consideration! :D

-cheers! and thanks for the fave! ^_^

Aki-san, konnichiwa! XD XD

Quote by Aki18Hey... Nice background! dunno how you did it but it sure looks swell!

with an eraser and a paintbrush with a squared end! (dunno what it's called tho) >.<

Quote:
I see you have added a bit of your own style in drawing this picture instead of plainly following the scan.. and i really like that, sorta reminds me of those freelance cg artists who draw characters from many animes but with their own little flavour...

honto ne? can you give me a link where to see these freelance artists? i'm constantly on the hunt for them.. :) onegaishimasu! :)

Quote:
Cool job!

domo arigatou, Aki-san! :)

Quote:
Anyway... I was about to say that the skirt was short but i realised since this iwas toheart it was meant to be like that...

we all love short skirts... ne. Nanchatte! ^_^'

Quote:
the fussy me does not spot any errors at all...
GReat JoB!

cheers! :)

It's good to finally have a friend in mt...

MT is indeed swarming with otakus! ^_^ have fun! :)

-chisai :)

Hey I like the way you were talking in the global warming thread. A very positive response! You have a good response.

Quote by Aki18okay.. at first i thought it was some cool doujinshi too. but i was wrong..
It's a digital drawing made completely out of LINES O.o
I am in awe..... the shading is godlike... especially if u used a computer to do so...
okay.. i'll jus point out a few tinny erm.. flaws..
Think the right leg is a bit too long, considering this is a side view of the girl..
the left hand's a bit weird too, around the index finger region..
Great work though... I'm jus being extra fussy jus now, forgive me...

This is a definite fave for me..

Hi hi :) Sorry for the late-ish reply ... you wrote that comment on my "born from the water" wallie :)
Well, I completely understand what you mean about the fingers :P [I did them freehand actually, because the scan lines were invisible, and her hand looked like paper] - I actually noticed her left hand was smaller than her right hand too, which was weird o_0 But I just copied the scan anyway >.<
As for the leg :o I never realised that XD Again, that was from the scan *___*
Thanks for the comment, fave and pointing it out ^.~V
I'd definitely be more careful in what scans I choose and what I'll do with them in the future :)
